*WINLINK EXERCISE #9: * *HOSPITAL STATUS REPORT*


*Scenario: *A helicopter spun out of control while transporting a patient
and crashed into the hospital.

You are tasked with sending a Hospital Status Report to the Emergency
Operations Center.

*INSTRUCTIONS:*

   -

   Open Winlink
   -

   Click on “Message → New Message” to create a new message
   -

   Click on “Select Template”


   -

   Standard templates
   -

   General Medical Forms
   -

   Hospital Status Report


   -

   When the form opens in your browser, complete each section
   -

      Incident Name – “Helicopter vs. Hospital”
      -

      Facility Name – OMIK Hospital
      -

      Contact name is the Hospital personnel in charge (Use your own name
      and call sign for the sake of this exercise))
      -

      Fill out the form as if reporting on such an incident (In real life
      the hospital will provide this information.)
      -

      After completing each section of the form


   -

   Click “Submit” →OK

When the form disappears, close your browser to get back to Winlink. You
will see your message populated with the information you provided on the
form.

   -

   In the To field type K6COB, KO4L
   -

   Click “Post to Outbox”
   -

   Open session
   -

   Start

Once your message is sent the system will check to see if you have any
incoming messages. If so, Click Download, and it will appear in your inbox.
