Huntsville letter 

Thanks to all who stopped
By our table during the Huntsville Hamfest last weekend. Seeing so many friends, members and new faces was certainly an inspiration to me. We collected donations to the scholarship fund and delivered hats, t shirts, patches and decals during all open hours. We
Also collected membership applications. Two new members and one reinstatement. 
President Emeritis Frank Smith and myself did a  video on You tube. 
Our table became quite the conversation piece as we adorned it with my GoBox, buddipole and two Mtr antenna. This rig always draws positive ham attention. 

Richard Bell our regional
Director also manned our table and radios equipment. Without him our 2 mtr rig may not have been heard. Congrats to
Richard for his Technical ability. Unfortunately our HF signal could
Not escape the metal roof of the VonBraun center.  

The atmosphere around our booth was very much alike to our old
Convention status. “Where old
Friends meet and new ones are made!”  Let’s all try and commit to our OMIK convention next year. Clearly it will raise your enthusiasm and provide stimulus to your role in the greatest and oldest African American radio association in the world!
