[OMIK] Getting started

Hello,
Always been interested in ham radios but never persuade it.
Since 2020 my career change have been installing BDA amplifier for a fire
alarm company here in Orlando Florida. Attended FCC GROL classes and test
in Boston RSI facility.  With GROL I am one step closer to getting into ham
radio hubby.
Searched on the web for a club to join and decided my best choice would be
your club.

My goal is to be able to communicate with people around the world.
What is my next step?
