[OMIK] OMIK Scholarship Program - Quarterly Update: What's New

[OMIK Amateur Radio Association]

Dear OMIK Family and Friends,

As you may know, one of the fundamental purposes of the OMIK Amateur Radio
Association, Inc. is to, "Encourage and motivate youth to further their
education beyond high school through scholarships and other financial
assistance."

This purpose is met each year through a partnership with the OMIK
Scholarship Program.  The OMIK Scholarship Program, through the guidance of
the OMIK Scholarship Committee, manages the OMIK Scholarship Fund and its
functions. The OMIK Scholarship Fund a 501(c)(3) charity.  Donations are
tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Raising money is always challenging but the OMIK Scholarship Program is our
way of PAYING IT FORWARD to the future scholars and leaders the Fund serves.

Recently, the Scholarship Committee has made some changes that give more
flexibility to you in terms of becoming or continuing your active support
for the Scholarship Fund through your donations.  These changes include a
review and update of the Scholarship Fund webpage and information,
quarterly Program updates, and the addition of two PayPal options available
for supporting the Fund's maintenance and growth.

You can now use your PayPal account to make a ONE-TIME or REOCCURRING
MONTHLY donation to the Scholarship Fund.  We believe that these additional
options for supporting the Fund will encourage more OMIK members and
friends to help us "Pay It Forward" to the next generation of youth the
OMIK Scholarship Program supports.
