Dear OMIK Family,

Octavia Ervin, widow of Walter Ervin, KEØD, passed on Thursday, September
8, 2016. She lived in Pueblo, Colorado, but she was in the care of her
family in Denver when she died.  She was around 93 years of age. Walt died
in 2014. Her family said that Octavia requested that there be no funeral or
memorial service.

Walt was a very active ham radio operator and a long-time OMIK member.
Octavia and Walt attended many OMIK conventions in the 1980s and 1990s.
