[OMIK] OMIK Scholarship Fund - Donation Request

[OMIK Amateur Radio Association]

Dear OMIK Family,

As you know, OMIK, a 501(c)(7) organization, awards college scholarships to
qualified, deserving students through its companion organization, The OMIK
Scholarship Fund, which is a 501(c)(3) organization.

OMIK Seeks To
 • Promote fellowship while advancing the art of amateur radio
 • Expand and upgrade the ranks of amateur radio operators
 • Provide public service and further international goodwill
 • Coordinate OMIK-affiliated ham radio clubs
 • Encourage and motivate youth to further their education beyond high
school through scholarships and other financial assistance

This lass goal, to "Encourage and motivate youth to further their education
beyond high school through scholarships and other financial assistance." is
potentially the most important goal for us as an organization because it
speaks to the future through the support of youth through education.

Bob Spann, KE6BJL, the custodian of the OMIK Scholarship Fund has requested
that the club membership be made aware of a need to assist the Scholarship
Fund help the youth we support through financial assistance as they further
their education.

Please consider making an immediate donation to the Scholarship Fund so
that we can continued our history of support to youth through education.

You can do this by Check or Money Order made payable to OMIK and noted
"SCHOLARSHIP FUND".

Please send the donation to our club Secretary who will note your donation
as part of your club account and can provide a tax donation letter which
you can use at years end when you file your taxes.
