Dear OMIK family,

I am so saddened to let you know that dad (Burton Paynter, VP9BP) passed
away today, November 27,2015, at 3:15pm. It happened so quickly once he was
removed from support.

Dad had taken a turn for the worse and has been in the ICU for the last 3
weeks. He was on a breathing machine via a tracheotomy. The doctors assured
us that there is nothing else they can do for him because his lung
infection was so bad and his immune system was so low.  We made the
decision to pull life support this afternoon -- as dad would never want to
live in the condition he's in.
