http://www.tulsahamradio.org./ares_call_out_kit.htm
lists the contents of a response bag. While geared toward the amateur
radio operator, the general contents of the "go kit" would, except for
the electronics, apply to the deployed person's needs.
What some groups do, as evidenced by the list, is make a team kit that
contains items the TEAM needs while each individual has his own "go bag".
Regardless of your experience or plans, it is prudent to have a 72-hour
kit (remember personal disaster plan, personal disaster kit?) even if you
are NOT deploying to a remote site.
Let me know how more I can help.
