[OKDXA] DXCC Processing

I just talked to the ARRL DXCC Desk on the phone to check on the status of my pending DXCC application.  I sent 16 QSLS via LOTW with QSOs having a new band/mode/entity.  Usually by the next day the QSLs have been used to update my DXCC records.  Now after 6 days my account seemed to be in limbo.   

Sharon Taratula tells me that the problem is that there is a huge backlog at the DXCC desk.  I guess improved propagation and a ton of DXpeditions in the last several months has caused a massive increase in DXCC work at the ARRL. 

Sharon says the ARRL has assigned more staffing to work on the DXCC backlog and it will take “several weeks” to catch up. So everything is OK at HQ. They are working to catch up.
