[OKDXA] OKDXA Fall Banquet Reminder

Good Morning OKDXA...
   The deadline for signup for the OKDXA Fall Banquet is two weeks from 
today, Sunday Sept. 24th. We have a large number of members who live in 
the OKC/central Oklahoma area. For your benefit, this year a location in 
the central part of the state was chosen for our banquet. I hope you 
will come out and support the OKDXA. This should be an interesting event 
at the National Weather Center. RSVP to Roger via US Mail or send an 
email to OKDXAssn at gmail.com . We need an accurate count for BBQ 
ordering...
   This note is also being sent to the SCARS, EARS, and OCAPA radio 
clubs. Everyone is invited to join us.
   My thanks to DX Engineering and the Tennedyne/Cubex Quads Antenna 
Companies for donating prizes for our raffle...

OKDXA Announcement:

The 2023 OKDXA Fall Banquet

Our annual OKDXA Fall Banquet will be held on Saturday September 30, 
2023 from 5:30-8:00 PM at the National Weather Center in Norman, 
Oklahoma. The agenda includes a guided tour of the National Weather 
Center, a Barbecue meal provided by Billy Sims BBQ, a featured 
presentation on "Lightning" by a NWC research scientist, and our OKDXA 
fund raiser Raffle. More details and signup information can be found on

RSVP by mail or email is required. Everyone is encouraged to bring an 
item to donate to the raffle and to buy raffle tickets. The raffle is 
our only fund raiser and helps us support the DXpeditions we all like to 
work.

This should be an interesting evening at the National Weather Center.
