[OKDXA] Silent Keys

[Harrop, Sierra, W5DX]

My dad, Paul Harrop, W5DX (ex WB5NDN) passed in 2019.

He always claimed to be a founding or charter member of OKDXA, but I've never found any records to verify that...

Thanks for including Frank Phillips, AB5J, as mentioned in the last email and Bob Morford, KA5YED, who I see is already on the site, in your remembrances. Both of those guys were tremendous to me when I was first getting started as a kid. Frank had the 147.39 repeater in Lawton. When I first got on the air, he was so gracious to me. Set me up with an autopatch speed dial preset and everything. That's a lot of faith to place in a teenager before the cell phone era!

 It is a members only page, so you will have to be logged into the
website to view it. I went back through some old emails and found some
for the list, and I knew a few... However, many of you have been members
of the OKDXA longer and may know of others who should be on the list.
Please send me an email with Callsigns and Names of any former members
you remember and would like to add to the list... Tnx for the help...
