I'll send you the files ifyou would like to help Lucien out.-----Coy,Since you work DX and other voice QSOs that must involve people with thickaccents, I am asking for your help. Sunday night I tried a SO-50 satelliterepeater contact using a borrowed duel band Elk directional antenna that Iput on a temporary stand outside and pointed skyward. I was able to getthru long enough to have my call sign repeated back but I just can’tdecipher his phonetic letters and number. Not sure if there is a GridSquare mixed in. So I’m asking you to listen to the attached MP3recordings with your PC or good speakers and see if you can make it out.The recording named Exchange 051423 is the segment with my call and hisresponse, then my call and grid square and he gave some kind of response. The recording named His Call 4 Times is just that. Using my sound editor Iisolated, copied, then pasted it 4 times so you can listen 4 times oneafter the other on one click.Let me know what you think his call is. Could he possibly be outside US(e.g. Mexico)? Thanks a bunch.LucienCoy C Day, N5OK20685 SW 29Union City, OK 73090H(405) 483-5632 C(405) 448-2368n5ok at arrl.net______________________________________________________________OKDXA mailing listHome: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/okdxaHelp: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htmPost: mailto:OKDXA at mailman.qth.netThis list hosted by: http://www.qsl.netPlease help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
