That Crozet card was a nice card. I though it would be very hard to work Crozet but ended up working FT8WW once on 20m FT8 F/H.
I thought having only one operator who was restricted to limited operating hours per day would cause huge pileups.
As it turned out Bouvet was the “hard to work” station not Crozet. The Bouvet guys were unable to setup all of their equipment and were only able to be on the air for a limited number of days. Also, there was chaos on their frequency due to their FT8 clock being off and also due to pirates who caused, at least for me, a lot of confusion. I now know that the guys I thought were pirates were, in fact, the actual Bouvet ops.
I still need BOUVET, PRATIS, DPRK, KERGUELEN, JOHNSTON IS, SAN FELIX & AMBROSIO, and TURKMENISTAN.
