Thank you, Jeff, for the email and the update. I wanted to attend this year
and see everyone, but unfortunately the Central States VHF Society annual
meeting was held in Little Rock on the same weekend.
I hope you see you at the Fall Banquet.
73's and enjoy the rest of your summer! Stay Cool!
Richard.

Subject: [OKDXA] OKDXA Meeting at Ham Holiday 29Jul23

Good Afternoon OKDXA...
The OKDXA had a meeting yesterday at the Ham Holiday hamfest in OKC.
We had a grand total of 10 people in attendance, 6 club members and 4
visitors. We have a total of 60 members in the OKDXA, it was a rather
disappointing turnout.
Dallas Shell - N5FEE gave a nice presentation about Sunspot Cycles and HF
Propagation. Thanks Dallas. I appreciate your efforts. I have uploaded his
presentation and provided a link on our website.
We also recorded the business meeting portion of the meeting. The main
topics of discussion were DXpedition QSL practices and the Fall Banquet
Announcement. I have uploaded the business meeting portion as a seperate
file and provided a link on our website. This file will be viewable for
about a month.
For those of you who missed the meeting and would like to view the
proceedings, here is a URL directly to the page on the website where the two
links reside,
http://okdxa.k5eok.org/n5fee-sun-cycles-and-radio-ham-holiday-29jul23/ .
You will need to be logged into the website to access this page. You can
also find the page under the tab: Interests/OKDXA Presentations/N5FEE Sun
Cycles and Radio .
I will provide additional information regarding the Fall Banquet in a few
days...

Thanks...

73,
Jeff - K5WE
OKDXA President
