[OKDXA] Green Country Hamfest Meeting, etc....

Good Morning OKDXA...

   As an early reminder, the Spring meeting of the OKDXA will be held on 
Saturday April 8, 2023 at the Green Country Hamfest. We have requested 
the 11 AM time slot, but that has not yet been confirmed. Our agenda for 
this meeting will include the following:
1) Election of Secretary/Treasurer

2) Re-cap of the Oklahoma QSO Party presented by Connie - K5CM

3) A presentation by Jeff - K5WE about his ZL7/K5WE DXpedition to 
Chatham Island

   We will also have a table on the flea market floor. DXCC card checking 
can be done by one of our card checkers. Our Secy/Treas, Roger - K5RKS 
can take your membership renewal or new membership applications and dues 
payments.

   By the way, we still have several members who have not renewed their 
memberships. Here's a list: K5CM, K5LAD, N1NU, N5DJR, N5DT, N5HZR, N5KW, 
N5RMS, W5BM, W5CCP, W5IF, W5RG, & WA5YNE. We hate to loose any members, 
we need you! Please take a moment to renew your membership. Usually, 
anyone who has not renewed by the Green Country Hamfest is removed from 
the roster.
   Memberships expire each year at the end of December. Dues are $20 per 
year for regular membership, $10 per year for Seniors age 65 and older, 
$10 per year for disabled, and $5 per year for additional family 
members. You may send a check to our Treasurer, Roger Simpson, payable 
to OKDXA, at the following address:

Hope everyone had fun working the TN8K - Congo group. They had almost 
165,000 QSOs and put on a good show! Also I hope you got a QSO with 
FT8WW - Crozet, a rare one... Now get ready for 3Y0J - Bouvet, coming up 
soon!
