This is almost comical. But only *almost*...

You've all read my tales of woe concerning getting going on FT8, then 
having sound card issues, and more sound card issues, and amp 
problems... Add to this rogue's gallery a mic cord problem. I use a 
RigBlaster and it's set to get the tones to the rig via the mic 
connector. Having worked gloriously the past few days, I decide to get 
TN8K on FT8, just like modern hams. So, I find a spot that doesn't seem 
so crouded, click on Tx Enable, click on the call and... Nuttin'. Nada. 
Zilch.

NOW WHAT?!

At first it made no sense but I finally chased it down to the cable 
between the RigBlaster and the mic input on the rig. Well, I did have to 
disturb it while working on the amp, so maybe... I look in the 8-pin 
connector and Lo! and Behold! The wire carrying the audio suffered a 
cold solder joint and is disconnected. After 30 y, it finally came 
loose. I resoldered it, insured it's a good joint, and tested it finding 
all is once again well in the universe.

Sheesh. I will *not* ask what else could happen, because I might find 
out...
