Peter...

They were definitely impacting traffic.   Several times they transmitted at
max power directly on the DX's transmit frequency, the second stream was
also so degraded that most of us lost his replies for several minutes each
time

I was concerned that my turn in the queue would occur during one of the
lid-induced blackouts and I would miss his call.
