For comparison ... In 2004, I bought an IC-746Pro (with Icom Power
Supply) via eBay for $1050.  I had just bought an Alinco 32-A switcher
and didn't need the PS-125, so eBayed it for about $125.  So I was in
it for what $925?

With the exception of 144 MHz, which the 746Pro has that the 7300 does
not, the latter is a better radio.

And if you run that $1050 I paid through the Bureau of Labor
Statistics' Consumer Price Index calculator (same numbers as used for
SS COLA), it's worth ~$1675 today.
