If you want something simple, I suggest N3FJP.
I use Log4OM. Free. Tracks DXCC really well.

It will read CAT from two radios (uses Omnirig, Hamrig or TCI). You can
log over the network from another computer as well.. also has a portable
version that will run from a USB stick..
You can download the manual and watch the videos and get a feel for it. If
it ticks your boxes, download and install it since it is free :-)
Anymore I control the radios from FTDX in Ubuntu and I am using
restored/refurbished HP EliteDesk mini PC's for less than $300. (HP
EliteDesk 800 G3 Mini Business Desktop (Intel Quad-Core i7-6700T 2.8Ghz,
16GB DDR4 RAM, 256GB SSD, DisplayPort DP, Ethernet RJ-45)
