      Yuris - YL2GM has announced a DXpedition to Tristan Da Cunha where 
he
will operate as ZD9W from September 24 to October 22, 2023. ZD9 is
currently #44 on the Clublog Most Wanted List. Yuris most recently
operated as VU7W from Lakshadweep. Yuris has also operated from S21,
EP2A, 3C1, 3C0, C21, T30, 9N7, 3DA0WW, 7P8WW, VU4, and others. He always
puts on a good show. ZD9 is a particularily difficult place to get to
deep in the South Atlantic. There is no air service. You have to take a
slow boat from South Africa and the last I heard they only go there
about once a month...
    The OKDXA Board of Directors has approved and a donation of $200 has 
been
made in support of the ZD9W Tristan da Cunha DXpedition... Yuris will be 
there
nearly a month. He should put lots of QSOs in the log. Hope everyone 
works him...
