This just from the TDXS reflector:

Bob, K5WA, just informed me that Richard was involved in a terrible
accident today. He was electrocuted while helping to take down a 40M Telrex
yagi. I don't know any more details, but I don't think this was at his
station. He was helping someone else take down the antenna.

Richard was one of the top contesters in this part of the world and a
pretty serious DXer. Sold him my Henry amp back in the late 70's/early 80's
when I decided to go strictly qrp. Damn shame.
