Check MUF and FoF2 at prop.kc2g.com
and dxmaps..
I witnessed similar experiences this weekend where the bands were opening
later than what I remember as normal.  And of course another time this
weekend I had the wrong antenna connected.. pays to use reading glasses
when looking at the label on the coax.
