[OKDXA] DX Spots you don't want to miss

Greetings, DXers.

A while ago I found I wanted to always meet my buddy on the air whenever
he was out peak-bagging and doing QRP SOTAs from mountaintops.  It was
always frustrating to "read about it the morning paper" the next day.

So I went looking for intelligent solutions to this challenge and tried
a few phone apps.  I settled on HamAlert after trying a few and being
frustrated:

https://hamalert.org/about

When Jeff asked about recording his CW pileups, I just opened the app
and added ZL7/K5WE to the list, and now I get phone notifications when
he gets spotted.

At the moment I am getting a lot of notifications, but that's because
Jeff is getting spotted a lot.  This will increase the chance I'll find
a time when I can record him on CW.  (I did not figure out if it is
possible to filter out the FT mode spots but it might be).

Highly recommended app.  Clean, no ads, no other bloating, easy to use
(my secret is I have it on my phone but _I configure it using the above
web site on my computer_ because I'm an Old Guy™).

P.S. I'm Android, I have no idea if there is something like it for Apple
phones
