[OKDXA] OKDXA Banquet - RSVP Deadline

   Good Morning OKDXA... The OKDXA Banquet is next Saturday, Oct 22nd. As 
announced a few days ago, DX Engineering is providing five $100 gift 
certificates for our raffle. The Tennedyne and Cubex Quads antenna 
companies are providing two VHF quad antennas and a $100 gift 
certificate for our raffle, in addition to hosting our banquet.
   The event will be held at the QTH and business address of Mark 
Chouinard - K5YAC, Airman Acres, Collinsville, OK. On the agenda is a 
presentation by Mark - N5OT of an audio clip he has prepared of the CW 
Pile-Up from the recent ZL7/K5WE Chatham Island DXpedition. Also on the 
agenda is a short power point presentation by Jeff - K5WE with several 
photos of his 2013 DXpedition to Saint Barthelemy as FJ/K5WE. Our 
featured speaker will be Mark - K5YAC who will do a presentation about 
the Tennedyne and Cubex Quad antenna companies and a tour of the 
facility.
   BBQ from 2 Pops Catering will be served. I will need your RSVP by Noon 
on Thursday, Oct 20 so I will know how much food to order. Send your 
RSVP to Jeff - K5WE via email, if you have not already done so. You do 
not have to be a member of the OKDXA to attend. Visitors are welcome, I 
just need a RSVP or a total count of those attending on your RSVP.

The OKDXA Fall Banquet will be held on Saturday October 22, 2022,

FYI... Airman Acres is an airpark in SW Collinsville. Collinsville is 
just North of Tulsa. The identifier is OK93. It has a 2500' x 230' grass 
strip with plenty of parking. I believe several of our members are 
pilots. You are welcome to fly in if you like...

Schedule of Events:
4:30PM - Informal Gathering
5:00PM - Dinner, followed by the program

Food:
A selection of Bar-B-Que and sides will be provided by 2 Pops Catering 
of Tulsa.

Banquet Cost:
$20 per person, meal, drinks and 5 raffle tickets included

Presentation:

one item to donate as a prize. This is the only fund-raising event we do 
as a club. Please bring something to donate and please buy some raffle 
tickets. This is how we raise money for the DXpeditions we support.
