TA-33Jr is definitely a less rugged antenna than the TA-33.
Element and trap diameters are notably smaller and weaker.
Radial ice survival would be problematic in Oklahoma. OCAPA
owns one but it is only used for temporary Field Day installs.
The club also owns a TA-33 that had been used at the Salvation
Army Citadel and might be available for purchase at a reasonable
price, but it needs extensive refurbishing and clean up.

the TA33JR is just as rugged.
