Greetings all,
Sometime in July I am expecting to have a superb antenna installer, Hector
Garcia, XE2K out to K5KC (~~3 miles east of I35 on Hwy 51 near Stillwater)
to work on a 4-el 40M beam at 200 feet. Hector suspects it will need to be
removed and brought to the ground via a tram line. After repair, it will
be reinstalled by tram.
Hector normally uses his brother as a helper, but his brother is not
available this summer. So, we are looking for someone to assist as a
helper on the ground. No climbing will be needed. Hector says we should
plan on 1-2 days of work. Of course, I will also be there as a helper.
We do not know the date. Hector is always watching the weather and will
drive in from Yuma, AZ when the locations he plans to visit (such as K5KC)
look to have favorable weather.
If you think you might be interested, please email (see email address
below) me with the subject line of Needing some antenna help and I will do
my best to answer your questions. Using that subject line will help me see
your email through about 300 political emails per day. You might also wish
to include a phone number.
I look forward to hearing from you.
73, Ken K5KC
