[OKDXA] The Problem with Snow Days...

HOPE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO TURN THE ANTENNAS SOON.  I HAVENT EVEN BEEN OUT TO THE SHACK  TODAY, BEEN BREAKING ICE OUT OF WATER FOR ANIMALS, EVERYTHING HERE COVERED IN ICE AND SNOW. HOPING OUTSIDE WATER LINES DON'T FREEZE AND BUST.

Here I am, at home in weather that no one should be out in, certainly 
not on the roads. Work has declared that offices are closed, but that if 
we're capable, we should work from home. Of course, we are capable since 
we've been doing for nearly the past two years. So, the pandemic has 
taken away even our snow days. Sigh.

But, I can still have the rig on and be on the watch listen for good 
ones. There isn't enough ice accumulation to change the match on my 
antennas due to dielectric loading, but I have just enough that I can't 
rotate may antennas. Sometimes I can break it loose but I'm not having 
much luck today. My tribander is pointed straight north, which leaves my 
40 m 2 el beam pointing west. Sigh.
