Kim - I am not much of an FT8 user, but need Crozet for #330. I need him on
CW but just worked him on
30m FT8. A big struggle and not much pleasure for me. My radio was set
for 10130.440 USB. I set theTX offset on the rig for split, and the TX
split to up 1.5khz. I set my tx audio to 1100 HZ and have it locked. He
is running what they call MSHV
which is just running two qso's at the same time. You will see many
people calling FT8WW, not even being able to decode him yet. No point in
calling until you have decoded him at least once. He has been on 30m
mostly and some 20m around 14085.
Very weak here. Never heard him on CW yet.

As for your FT8 setup - one of the locals can surely give you a quick start
- better than my summary. OKLA seems to get better signals than NC. On
30m he peaks from around 0100-0200Z.
