[OKDXA] FT8WW - Crozet

Wish I were one of the 102 CW Qs! Alas, I snoozed.

I'm sure things are stressful enough for him there. I wouldn't be
surprised if he stayed almost exclusively FT8. Pretty much letting a
machine picking the calls out of the pile has to be at least a *little*
less stressful than wrestling with a snarling pile on CW by ear,
especially with with all the inevitable intentional QRM. SSB? Fuggitaboutit!

I admit that I'm not crazy about the machine modes. I don't *dis*like
them, but I like CW better. Yet, computers are a requirement for any
serious operation. In logging applications, they really do make our
lives easier, less stressful, and more productive. Since computer
logging places no significant demand on any computer, if it can help
move the process of handing out Qs to the Deserving, it should. Thus do
we have these amazing digital/machine modes.

So, I shall begin the process of untangling all those wires of my
"wireless" station so as to find the audio output of the rig to the
audio input of the computer and then find the audio out of the computer
and connect it to the audio input of the rig. Sigh...
