ME! I can't believe it! Green Country Hamfest called me this afternoon saying I
had won the 1st Place Prize, a new Yaesu FT991A, 100 watt, all mode, HF, VHF,
UHF transceiver. I just got home from Tulsa to pick it up.
I've been licensed since 1967, attending many, many hamfests through the years,
and I think this is the first time I have won anything. Well, I take that back,
I won a gift certificate from DX Engineering one time, not from Green Country,
but somewhere else... But I've sure never won anything this big! Anyway, I'm
happy... hi... Almost as good as working a new one... hi...
