[OKDXA] Prop on 15

Hello Jeff:

At this point in the solar cycle it is quite normal to work Europe skew (or
bent) path at the start of the opening - they will come direct path later
today.

Remember that the MUF is always higher near the equator. EU stations point
their antennas to that bent area as well.

The same is for JAs from Pennsylvania. Direct path to JA for me is 330
degrees. In the ARRL DX contest we worked 6 JAs by pointing at 220 degrees.

There is a sort of contest/activity day going on right now on FT4. I've been
listening on 21.140 for a little while. When aimed toward Europe, I hear no
Europeans, but when I beam about 120 degrees I do hear several Europeans...
Interesting... Anyone else hearing this?

Jeff - K5WE
