[OKDXA] Can I get DX Announcements on my phone?

“Back in the day” it was a telephone tree. Then a DX club’s repeater. Then packet clusters. Now it’s internet clusters. The issue for all of us is that HF propagation is remarkably local: Jeff often hears stuff I can’t. Sometime I hear stuff he can’t.
A Slack channel is free and as long as everyone has Slack on their phone, that can send and get messages (spots). Would it get used? Maybe we’d see a positive feedback: the more it’s used, the more it’s used.
Should we give it a try?

However, I wonder how much use it would actually get, would it be worth the trouble? This email reflector/list really has limited action, would a Slack channel be any different or better? What do you guys think?
