Yes I noticed the same thing on 30m, not hearing 3DA0 but seeing a
multitude of callers.  Only antenna available for 30m and down is my OCFD
with 9:1 balun at 40 feet cut for 80 meters.  Have used it with a pair of
homebuilt coaxial traps in the past to extend to 160m but it is marginal
for that... and too long!
