Dave Land, KD5FX, minutes ago informed me oaf 70 Ft of Rohn 65 tower
available for FREE if you can get it down safely. Rohn 65 has a face of
24 in (leg to leg) it weighs 400 lbs per 20 ft section, so a total of
about 1,400 lbs for the entire tower. It is in downtown Ponca City. If
you want it and have means to get it down SAFELY, please contact Dave
directly at land.dave at gmail.com. We'll have Dave sent us up on the
website probably sometime on Saturday May 15. Better yet, contact Dave
directly at land.dave at gmail.com. Dave is giving OKDXA members the first
chance at this. If there's no interest from any of us by next weekend,
he'll advertise it more widely. Note well that "FREE" is a bit of a
misnomer as it will almost certainly cost something to get it down,
possibly a crane rental or something similar.

73 & CU in the Pileups,

Kim N5OP
