[OKDXA] WSJTX Delay

Good Morning OKDXA...
  I thought I would report back some findings since I brought up this
subject... 

Radio - K3
Software - Windows 10, WSJT 2.4 GA

  After upgrading to 2.4 I noticed about a 1 second delay before the start
of the transmit cycle. (I would be curious to know if a receiving station
detected my signal as being about a second slow.) I went back to version 2.3
and I don't have the problem. I also notice a slight pop in the speaker when
going into transmit that is not there with version 2.3. I have the same
problem with 2 different computers and 2 different radios. I made this
change:
Settings/Radio/Mode/Data/Pkt (original setting)
To
Settings/Radio/Mode/None (or USB)

  With the new setting the delay problem is gone. However, CAT does not tell
the radio to change modes since that is now turned off. So, that is not good
when changing bands or modes or whatever... 

  So, for now I think I will go back to 2.3 and hope the WSJT developers fix
the problem...
