Subject: [OKDXA] DXCC Listing

Good Evening OKDXA...

I try to update the DXCC Totals Listing on the website around the first of
every month. I'm a few days late getting this email out. I just got home
this
afternoon from Flagstaff, Arizona. The trip home was quite an ordeal. I
was supposed to leave yesterday. AA sent me an email saying my flight was
cancelled due to a mechanical problem, I was re-booked on a flight leaving
for
DFW at 7AM this morning. When we got to Dallas, we were put in a holding
pattern around DFW for about an hour due to WX. They said no planes were
landing or taking off from DFW. After a while, our plane was about to run
out of fuel, so they diverted us to Midland, TX to re-fuel. When we got to
Midland, the boy pilot (he looked and sounded about 20 years old) bounced
the
landing so bad I thought he had blown a tire or damaged the landing gear.
I'm
serious, it was the worst landing I have ever experienced on a commercial
jet.
Scared the crap out of all the passengers. I was very tempted to get off the
plane and rent a car and drive the rest of the way home. But, we didn't
actually
go all the way to the terminal so they wouldn't let anyone off. So, we
filled up
with gas and took off for DFW again... Got to DFW and the kid pilot bounced
the landing again, just as bad as the first time... I'm getting a little
long-winded
here so I will try to cut this short... hi... My connecting flight to Tulsa
had
been cancelled, so they put me on another. This flight was un-eventful. I
arrived
home about 5PM... What a day...
I have received updates from WQ5R and N0LD. I will process those.
Please submit any updates to your DXCC Totals listing or submit your new
data to be added to the listing in the next few days. You can pull your
totals from LoTW or probably from your logging program. Use this shortcut to
the webform: http://www.k5eok.org/okdxa/dxcc-submissions/ . (You will need
to login).
Per request, I have added a column for 60 Meters. I know, I know, 60
meters doesn't count for DXCC, but if you would like to display your totals
for the band you now can...

73,
Jeff - K5WE
