[OKDXA] OKDXA Fall Banquet

October marks the month when OKDXA has a Fall Banquet. Last year the 
banquet was cancelled due to COVID19 precautions. But this year...

Our banquet will be different and a bit experimental: we'll hold it at 
the Hamarama Holiday Hamfest in Ardmore, held October 22-23 this year. 
We'll have a forum room for 90 min, allowing us time to sit down and 
enjoy the gastronomic delights offered by the food trucks or nearby 
Bar-B-Que joints at the hamfest. Yes: Buy (or bring) your own food to 
the OKDXA forum. Yes, Ardmore is a long drive for some, but I think well 
worth it. We'll get exposure to the hams in southern Oklahoma, which is 
under-represented in OKDXA, and none of us will need to drive home in 
the dark. We'll have our new SM, Mark Kleine (N5HZR) and our West Gulf 
Director, John Stratton (N5AUS) in attendance; John will be *part* of 
the program which has yet to be completely filled out. The gathering 
will start at 11:30 AM and go until 1:00 PM, at which time the prize 
drawings begin.

So, mark you calendars now!
