If you'd like to see what wind, temperature, humidity, etc., are around
Oklahoma, go to http://www.mesonet.org/ and select what you'd like to
see. It doesn't show present weather (rain, snow, etc.) but you can
merge the conditions shown with the NWS radar and have a good idea if
there's freezing rain at the time: if there's radar echo and the surface
temperature is below freezing but above about 25-27 F, it could be
freezing rain or freezing drizzle.
You can also look at https://mping.ou.edu/display and see reports from
regular people ("citizen scientists") about what's falling. Be aware
that the lack of reports in an area doesn't mean nothing is happening:
it only means no one has reported anything, maybe because there's no one
to participate.
