I have K9AY receive loops for the low bands, having no Beverages. I
don;t have Beverages because I didn't run transmission lines for any
when I built this place and there's no good way to run any, now. Hence
my choice of the K9AY loops. Yet, something isn't right because it's
dead when set it to favor the NE and NW. I'd noticed that this happened
intermittently a few days ago, but the intermittent is no longer
intermittent. I looked in the relay box and saw that water had leaked
onto at least one of the relays. It wasn't wet in there, but some
sealant had failed on a cable entry and water had been dripping in. So,
I suspect that I have a bad relay. I'll have to look to see if it's one
that would do this. In any event, I ordered new ones, at about $1.37
each from Mouser (there are three). That's about $4 in parts. And $8 in
shipping. Sigh. Expected here on the 29th. Rats...
