Subject: [OKDXA] Virtual Fall Meeting!

As almost everyone knows, the OKDXA has had Fall Banquets in the past.
But, the pandemic prevents one this year. In addition, DX has been rather slow because the pandemic has prevented much in the way of DXpeditioning. But, keeping in touch with each other remains important, so your Officers and Directors have agreed that we should have a virtual OKDXA Fall Meeting on November 14th starting at 7 PM CST. Our program will be a DX biography prepared by our very own Jeff Martin, K5WE, on the great DXpeditioner Erik Sjolund SM0AGD. Erik put about 50 entities on the air over a 25 year period up through 2001. In addition, we're asking each of you to to create a small presentation about your station!
There are lots of ways to do this, but perhaps the best way is an auto-advancing PowerPoint of your antennas and station. A video would work, too, but the PowerPoint is smaller. These need to be limited to no more than 5 min. We could put them on the web site to show the breadth of set-ups that can work DX. A few could be featured in the meeting, but we won't have time for them all if everyone makes one.

Send the PowerPoint/videos to either me of Randy Wing (N0LD) and we see to it that they're put up on our OKDXA site.

Thoughts? Ideas? Comments? Send 'em in!

I'll send more info when we have the Zoom meeting details.

73 & CU in the pileups!
