Mac,
    Consider a rubber 'roof jack', i.e. the rubber
portion of the roof fitting where drain vents
penetrate the roof.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a shield to
install on a 2" O.D. mast that will keep freezing
precipitation from locking the rotating mast up in
the tower tube?
