Kim:
I went back through my log. I have 12 QSO's with K5D from Feb 14 through Feb 18, 2009. Nowhere do I find a callsign K4D/KP5. Perhaps your QSO was with K5D??
Regarding KP2A/KP5, in the year 1989 I have no QSO's with KP5. However, I do have a QSO with KP2A/KP5 on 24Aug1991 and several QSO's with KP2A with no slash anything, just says QTH Desecho, beginning 31May1981 through 12Jun1981. Could your 1989 QSO have been in a different year?
  Hope this helps...
The log search brought back some interesting memories. First QSO with Desecho was with W0DX in October of 1978, last was in Feb of 2009. It's been a while for that one...

Jeff - K5WE

Subject: [OKDXA] ClubLog WHitelist?

I'm becoming acquainted with ClubLog and have been finding outright
errors in my log, but this doesn't seem to be one. ClubLog tells me that:

Callsign: K4D/KP5 Date: 2009-02-24 20:44:57 Band: 20 QSL: No
'K4D/KP5' is not known to have been active from DESECHEO ISLAND on this
date. As a precaution, this QSO will be stored but marked as invalid for
DXCC. If this callsign is valid, it can be whitelisted - you are invited
to send feedback. For a detailed explanation, please see:
http://clublog.freshdesk.com/solution/articles/77534-whitelists

The DXpedition is documented at https://cdxc.org/infos/cr/k5d-story/ and
is recorded as being active on the date of my QSO. Anyone know what's
going on?

73,

Kim N5OP
