To All:
My Best DX for 2020:
TI9A on 160 meters (CW) – new one on that band
VP8PJ on 30 meters for a new one on FT8 and 30 meters
Most new low band-count:
Went from 15 to 23 DX countries on 160 meters (all on CW)
Most new mode counts:
Went from 53 to 108 DX on FT8 digital
(First time to work DX on 6 meters FT8, lots of new states on digital)
Favorite DX contest:
ARRL 10 meters – good to see the band open again, hooray!!!
Favorite Operating Event:
Route 66 On-The-Air Special Event – worked 37 states on 80 SSB with the W6K call
Longest DX contact:
VP8PJ – 7079 miles on 30 meters FT8 with only 70 watts and a wire antenna, not too shabby
For me 2020 was a good year.
Let’s hope for even better DX in 2021,
73,
JimN5OHL
