Oklahoma Ham Holiday banquets have been priced at $25 for quite awhile.  This seems to cover costs for speaker visit plus quite a few prizes that are totally separate from the regular hamfest prizes.

Kim,

A lot of the DX clubs hold their banquet around Christmas.  I don't like
that.  It is just too busy a time of the year.  Note the $40.  $15 is just
too low.  People complain if you increase any amount but they get over it.

Today your Fearless Tasters went to Mimi's to establish the dinner menu for
the CTDXCC Holiday/Christmas Dinner, to be held Tuesday, December 3, 2019
at Mimi's Cafe on MoPac in Austin, starting at 6 pm.

For $40 per person - the price has been that for at least 10 years - you
get appetizers, soup, salad, and your choice of julienned Chicken with
linguine,  Vegetarian Quiche Florentine, Shrimp pasta, or Beef Bordeaux
with Penni pasta, a dessert tray, and coffee or tea, and the tip is
included. The Fearless Tasters thought all of those dishes were outstanding
and had difficulty choosing between those and several other entrees.

Please put December 3 on your calendar for this event. As in past years,
you will find great food and great friends there ! Please send your

what your entree will be until you get there.
