Meeting Minutes OKDXA Banquet 19Oct2019

OKDXA President Kim Elmore - N5OP called the meeting to order at about
6:40PM. A brief business meeting was held. Minutes of the Ham Holiday
meeting were approved.

OKDXA Sec/Treas Jeff Martin - K5WE gave the treasurer's report. Since the
Ham Holiday meeting in July we have collected $90 in dues. We had a
disbursement of $40.34 to Go Daddy to renew our domain name for the next 2
years. Current bank balance is $1175.32. We have added 2 new members since
July, W5ZP and N5UWY. Jeff discussed the status of the DXpeditions we have
supported in the last year, several are now active or will soon be active.

President Kim Elmore introduced visiting newspaper reporter Jessica Pollard.

Jeff Martin - K5WE gave a presentation about the VP2VEM and VP2V/N5AQ
DXpedition operation he and Bill, N5AQ recently completed from the British
Virgin Islands. 

Our guest speaker was Bill Priakos - W5SJ from Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Bill
gave a nice presentation on his DXpedition to TX5T Austral Islands. 

Our raffle was held. Several prizes were given to the lucky winners.

Meeting was adjourned by President Kim at about 8:30 PM.
