I was hoping for a repeat on the 160 m opening yesterday morning, but no
luck. However, I worked them on 15 m last night at around 0400 UTC on
100 W and again  on 40 m this morning, around 1200 UTC, all CW. The pile
on 40 was pretty big, though relatively well behaved, but I ran 1.5 kW
because, well... I was impatient. They were using a big split -- about
7.5 kHz. Signals were good, but I again had trouble spotting the
stations they were working. On 20, they seemed to be following a
pattern, working their way methodically up and down through the pile,
which makes them easier to work. But I couldn't detect any such pattern
on 15 m or 40 m. I suppose I need a band scope...

These guys are getting easier to work by the day and they're good ops.
Counting my prior AH1A QSOs in 1993, I have them on 80, 40, 20, 17, 15,
and 12 m. If I could get them on 10, 30, and 160, I'd have all the boxes
checked! Because of my schedule, though, I doubt that I'll hear them on
10 m or 160, but 30 m is a possibility before they QRT.

See you in the pileups!
