6O6O - Somalia
Congrats on working them Glen. They have been hard to work from W5 land. I
finally worked them a little while ago on 14.031 short path, listening up. S
zero on the meter. Not a new one for me, but the only game in town so I have
been listening for them... Their operating habits have not been favorable to
W5, and I understand they have high noise levels. Their xmit signal has been
weak on any band, and they seem to receive worse than they xmit. Loudest
signals have been on 40 long path in the morning but then they were only
asking for W6...
Bouvet should be coming up soon... Good luck to everyone...

Jeff - K5WE

Was able to get them last night on 40 CW short path at 0329Z. QSO confirmed
via Clublog within
5 minutes.

Now hearing them long path on 7.023 calling for W6... Fair signal, S3 on the
meter... Lots of folks calling them but they don't seem to hear anybody...
Barely heard them on 20 about an hour ago, not loud enough to call.
