I didn't send out a renewal reminder at the end of last year and so
several (actually 22) of you have forgotten to renew your OKDXA
membership. I'm pretty sure I would have forgotten were I not paid up
through the end of this year. As a reminder, memberships run for the
calendar year starting on 1 January and so expire on 31 December.
So... Here is your late reminder to PLEASE RENEW! One of the perks of
membership to OKDXA is the ability to post to the OKDXA mail list.
Non-members may receive posts, but may not make posts. Usually, your
ability to post expires with your membership, but this year it runs
through the end of February (because yours truly forgot to remind you to
renew because he forgot all about it) so everyone has a chance to pay
their dues.
Our dues schedule may be found at http://okdxa.net/web/html/membinfo.htm
and you have two ways to pay dues: the first is via USPS to
*Oklahoma DX Association**
**P.O. Box 1258**
**Broken Arrow, OK 74013*
But you can also renew via PayPal to: *okdxa at cox.net
*When renewing via PayPal, please provide your name and call sign.
OKDXA is a small club, but a very good one. We support DXpeditions to
rare countries so that we can all enjoy the thrill fo an ATNO or a new
band-country, but we also support each other. Need some help or advice
on just about anything ham radio or DX related? You have the collective
experience and expertise of our membership. We have members that are at
the top of the DXCC Honor Roll, we have technical expertise, we have QSL
expertise, we have LoTW expertise... There are enough of us that we can
cover just about any topic.
Keep OKDXA healthy and renew your membership!
While you're at it, don't forget that our next meeting is at the Green
Country Hamfest. If you're worried about being volunteered for an
office? No worries! It's an off election-year meeting ;)
