It is cool that the top of the Honor Roll is in sight over there. Here
I'm still moving forward toward the bottom of the Honor Roll. If I'm
able to work Heard, Bouvet, Navassa, Iran, and Eriteria (which I think
Zorro is going to activate again in a more serious way) then I think I
be right at the Bottom of the Honor Roll -- assuming I work each of
them. If Baker / Howland, Johnston Island, and Kingman Reef ever become
active again then I'd probably cross into the lower ranks of the Honor
Roll. Also, I need stuff like North Korea, Pratas, Crozet, and
Turkmenistan. I worked Turkmenistan a few years ago, but the ARRL
rejected it because according to the ARRL any operation from
Turkmenistan in recent years is "bogus". This is because ham radio is
now illegal there so there are no valid hams any more.

I agree that the Tromelin operation if FB. I've worked them on SSB, CW,
and I'm 99.99% that I'm also in his log on RTTY based on a QSO last
night local time. I'll know in a few hours if I'm in his log on 17m RTTY
once he puts up a log update. In regards to Tromelin, I should change my
call to K5RK (drop the last letter). That guy -- who I'm always in
friendly "competition" with (well there is really no competition because
I'm not in his league) -- has worked FT4TA from DC to light on at least
99 modes per band!!!!! Actually, as of this writing he has worked FT4TA
in TWENTY (count 'em 20) band modes!!!!
