Hey, everyone,

Now's a great time to renew your membership in the Oklahoma DX
Association, before you spend all your money on Christmas gifts!
It's now easier than ever to do it, using PayPal.  You can just send your
funds to ne5ok at okdxa.net .
I'm posting the link to the current membership roster below so that
everyone can see where you stand.

On another matter, our officer elections will be coming up in March at the
Green Country Hamfest.  In order to vote in the elections you must be a
current paid member in the club at election time.  I will not be seeking
re-election as President.  I've held the office for 2 terms now and feel
it's time for someone else to step up.  Additionally, Bruce, K5PX, has
indicated that he will not seek or accept a nomination for the office of
Secretary/Treasurer again.  He shares my sentiment that it's time for
others to step up.  Please keep these in mind when you're considering who
to nominate in March.

One other important announcement.  Bob Allphin, K4UEE, and his team were
selected as the team to put Navassa Island on the air, and they're not
wasting any time making it happen.  In fact, K1N is slated to hit the air
in January of 2015.  I've already approached the OKDXA Officers and
Directors and was given approval to send their DXpedition $500 from the
OKDXA.  You'll see the OKDXA logo displayed on the top row of the "Clubs
and Organizations" on the sponsors page.  Their website is:   www.kp1.us

73 and see you in the pileups
